On March 26th，2017, the delegation headed by EUCJIC visited China (Guangdong) Pilot Free Trade Zone—Nansha Area of Guangzhou upon  invitation. The delegation met with relevant officials of the District and had detailed discussion of future cooperation between Nansha District and EU member states in the field of development and innovation.
